Ways to Give to Cornell

Providing Gift Information to your Contacts

When your contacts express interest in giving, it is important to talk to them about how they want to make their gift. Once you know what they have in mind, be sure to follow up and provide them with pertinent links and/or information that will make their gift transaction as easy as possible. The Cornell website outlines all of the information you’ll need on the Ways to Give page. Whether your contact is looking for a snail mail address to mail their check, information on using a donor-advised fund (DAF), or setting up a bequest, you will find it all there.

Trusts, Estates, and Gift Planning

Alumni who wish to make lasting contributions to Cornell, may be interested in learning more about the Cornell’s Office of Trusts, Estates, and Gift Planning, which provides strategic financial planning for Cornell philanthropy.

Cornell Giving Societies

Donor recognition is important to many alumni, particularly those who are in their reunion year. If your contacts have questions about what level of giving corresponds to which giving societies, you will find the answer to their questions on the Donor Communities web page.
